The Role
This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a large, well-established organisation within a close-knit team of seven. The role is fast-paced and high-volume, with strong support from an approachable hiring manager and teammates who genuinely help each other out.
This position suits someone early in their AP career who is motivated, organised and comfortable working with data. Offshore AP experience or 12 months of accounts related experience is welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
High-volume invoice processing and creditor ledger management;
Resolve invoice rejections and queries within agreed SLAs;
Daily liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
Manage AP tickets via workflow and ticketing systems;
Ensure invoices comply with purchasing policies and terms;
Supplier statement reconciliations and month-end support;
Identify and escalate risks to payments or supplier supply; and
Deliver strong customer service and first-contact resolution.
About You
Around 1 year of Accounts Payable experience (or offshore AP experience);
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;
Strong Excel skills;
Clear communicator with a customer-focused mindset;
Proactive, reliable and keen to learn and grow; and
Detail-oriented with good time-management skills.
