u&u. Recruitment Partners is supporting a large Queensland Government division that delivers housing and property services supporting teachers and regional communities. You’ll join a team that keeps housing records, documents and processes accurate and compliant, so frontline services run smoothly.
The Opportunity
As an AO3 Business Support Officer, you’ll provide day-to-day administrative and property-related support to regional housing coordinators and school staff. You’ll prepare tenancy and leasing documentation, update housing records and systems, coordinate basic property processes (e.g. entry / exit paperwork, inspection scheduling) and respond to enquiries with a service mindset. Your work directly supports teacher attraction and retention in regional communities.
In this role, you will:
Prepare accurate tenancy / leasing documents, correspondence and housing records;
Maintain data and reporting in housing systems (e.g. EHS) and MS Office;
Coordinate entry / exit documentation and schedule routine inspections;
Assist with required compliance documentation under policy and legislation; and
Respond to enquiries from staff and tenants; escalate complex matters as needed.
Required Experience
You’re an organised administrator who enjoys working in a busy, service-focused environment. A property / housing background is desirable.
You will bring:
Solid administrative experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Confident MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick system learning;
Experience preparing documents, updating records and coordinating tasks to deadlines;
Clear communication with internal stakeholders, tenants and suppliers; and
A proactive, professional approach and comfort working on-site in Rockhampton.
