Looking for a Microsoft development role where you can focus on modern platforms, real user needs and meaningful outcomes? This permanent opportunity offers hands-on Power Platform work, close stakeholder engagement and involvement in a broader digital transformation program. The role is hybrid, based to the east of the Melbourne CBD, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and service.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be part of a Solutions Team delivering user-first digital solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. While there are a small number of legacy, bespoke .NET applications to maintain, the primary focus of the role is modern development across the Microsoft Power Platform and M365.
This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding problems before designing solutions, working closely with users, and delivering technology that is practical, intuitive and well adopted.
In this role, you’ll:
Design, build and enhance Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and Dataverse solutions;
Develop and support SharePoint Online and M365-based applications;
Contribute to Azure-based integrations and SQL-backed solutions;
Maintain and support a small number of legacy .NET applications;
Engage directly with stakeholders to understand workflows and pain points;
Document solutions, workflows and processes to a high standard; and
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on a Dynamics-based platform rollout.
About You
You’re a hands-on Power Platform developer with a strong customer service mindset. You care about quality, documentation and user experience, and you’re comfortable working closely with non-technical stakeholders.
You’ll bring:
Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages);
Solid experience with SharePoint Online and SQL;
Exposure to Azure, particularly for application integrations;
Experience with Dynamics 365 (workflows, JavaScript, plug-ins) – beneficial;
A proactive, intuitive approach with strong attention to detail;
The ability to translate business needs into well-designed solutions; and
Experience in structured or user-centric environments is advantageous, but alignment to the above priorities is key.
