**About the Role
**
Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical first-level HR advice while supporting a range of People & Culture initiatives across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, HR systems and employee programs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level People & Culture advice and support to managers and employees;
Support employee relations matters, including performance and workplace issues;
Provide guidance on Awards, legislation, policies, procedures and HR processes;
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and assist with selection panels;
Support onboarding and employee exits across the employee lifecycle;
Maintain HR systems, employee records and people-related information;
Support learning and development initiatives, workshops and organisational programs;
Administer employee programs including well-being, reward and recognition;
Provide support across workers compensation and other HR processes; and
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and initiatives.
About You
You will be a proactive and solutions-focused HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of People & Culture activities. You will have strong communication skills and the confidence to provide practical advice to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle.
Ideally, you will bring:
Previous experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role;
Experience providing HR advice across policies, processes, Awards and legislation;
Exposure to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and performance management;
Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills;
A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to manage competing priorities; and
A collaborative and customer-focused approach to working with managers and employees.
