Federal Hospitality, a proudly family-owned Tasmanian organisation, operates casinos, premium hotels, luxury resorts pubs and leisure facilities across the state. With over 2,000 employees and an employer of choice, we are seeking an experienced WHS Business Partner to support operational teams, embed proactive safety practices and influence WHS culture across multiple sites within the Federal Hospitality organisation.
Reporting into the WHS Manager and working with a broader safety and wellbeing team, you will work in a hands-on, autonomous role with direct exposure to operational leaders, broad scope and the opportunity to make a real impact on safety systems and culture.
Further to this you will:
Provide practical WHS advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies;
Collaborate with operational leaders to embed safety standards into daily activities, conduct risk assessments, hazard management and incident investigations; and
Support training, consultation and awareness initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture across sites.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in WHS roles, ideally within hospitality or multi-site operations;
Solid understanding of hazard and risk management processes and Australian WHS legislation;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively;
Ability to support audits, investigations and implement corrective actions; and
Commitment to ongoing professional development and promoting a “safety first” culture.
