Qualified with both Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Psychology, specialising in Organisational Psychology, Psychometrics and Human Factors, Amy brings a deep understanding of human behaviour and talent alignment. This, combined with her experience recruiting IT professionals in Dublin prior to relocating to Australia, underpins the unique perspective she brings to u&u’s highly regarded HR practice.

Amy began her journey with u&u as a Resourcer in the HR team and was promoted to Associate in 2025. In her current role, she specialises in Government HR recruitment, supporting a broad range of departments and agencies with the placement of high-calibre HR professionals. She draws on her extensive LinkedIn network of almost 6,000 contacts, along with a strong ability to assess candidate potential and align talent with organisational needs, to deliver successful outcomes for both clients and candidates.

An interesting aspect of Amy’s background is her decade-long career as a professional long-distance endurance jockey. Representing Ireland internationally while based in Dubai, she developed a strong competitive drive, resilience and a results-oriented mindset, qualities that continue to shape her approach to recruitment.
